I bought into the idea that when it comes to love and sex, cis men and women are different. But the more I live and do this work, the more I realize that we’re a lot more alike than we think.

Sure, there are differences in how we communicate and express ourselves - but at the core of it, our hearts beat to similar rhythms when it comes to love. We all want someone who loves us for who we are, understands and meets us where we are, listens to us, and makes us feel special.

But there’s also a lot of fear that stands in the way of forming and nurturing relationships. Insecurities prevent us from truly connecting with other people. And no matter what our gender identity or sexual orientation is, we all have a deep-seated fear of being hurt and rejected.

What if women and men are both from Mars and Venus?
