Mike traveled for business, which is how we met. This was long before the days of internet dating, back when meeting someone at a bar was normal.
He was funny, charming, and very down-to-earth, pretty easy on the eyes, but mostly I enjoyed his company. We had fun together.
He’d typically blow into town 2–3 times a month. We’d have dinner, talk for hours, and have sex. I loved everything about our time together — except for the sex.
It’s not that he was terrible in bed. He was well, you know — fast. Like really fast. Like, three-pump fast. Uh — uh — ahhhhh fast.
Don’t get me wrong; those three pumps were good. I mean, as good as three pumps can be, providing you are fully embodied and entirely in the room, which I was. Of course, three pumps doesn’t afford much time for fantastic sex.
Fortunately, Mike was interested in prolonging pleasure, but he had no idea where to begin. Remember, at the time, the internet was still in its infancy. There was no www, and dial-up was the only way to connect.
Mike didn’t have the luxury of Google at his fingertips. So aside from real-world experience, he was clueless about how to become more sexually skilled. All he had was his charm and his fantastical sense of humor, which was enough to get his foot in the door and a woman in bed. But it wasn’t enough to land the plane if you catch my drift.
He’d had several long-term relationships, but from what I gathered, his partners never expressed concern or interest in having a different experience. But I’m willing to bet good money that they were unsatisfied too. And they probably didn’t have the heart to say anything, which is unfortunate because they did themselves and Mike a grave disservice.
Premature ejaculation (P.E.) is distressing for penis owners and their partners.
P.E. can impede satisfaction and lower self-esteem for all parties involved. The penis owner may experience feelings of inadequacy, their partners are likely frustrated, and this is sure to put a strain on other areas of the relationship.
And let’s be honest, cumming too soon is a deal-breaker for some folks because sexual satisfaction is rarely achieved quickly. Pleasure often takes time and should only be rushed when or if sexual tension is maximized… sometimes, but not always.
The following three (3) tips, when used in concert with one another, significantly reduce the experience of premature ejaculation:
