Talking about vulnerable shit is hard. And no matter how many times you leap, it never gets easier.
Adding erectile dysfunction to the mix takes it to the tenth power.
If I were on that bullshit, this is the part where I would insert an empty platitude.
It’s really not a big deal.
But it is.
You’ll feel better after you say it.
You might not.
Your partner will get it.
Perhaps.
Here’s the thing…
Talking about it won’t fix the problem. But it’ll relieve some of the pressure.
Never underestimate the power of unloading a burden. And if you’ve been holding this, it might feel like the motherload.
Granted, saying it out loud won’t provide instant relief. You might fumble the delivery. And feel angsty about how your partner might respond.
Your mind will probably make up a story (that’s what minds do). And you’ll survive (because that’s what you do).
