We assume sexual frustration starts in the bedroom. So we focus entirely on trying to have more sex. Or make the sex we’re having (if we’re having it) better.
But what if the issue started somewhere else?
We are taught that sex and emotion are separate things. But the research says otherwise.
People who feel emotionally connected to their partners report significantly higher sexual satisfaction. And when that emotional connection erodes, sexual satisfaction usually goes with it.
Most of us never make that connection.
In this week’s episode, I’m talking about how emotional conditions shape the sexual experience. And a question we should ask ourselves if sexual frustration becomes a thing.
