What if Sexual Frustration Isn’t About Sex (Most of the time)?

But if it's not about the sex, what's really going on?

We assume sexual frustration starts in the bedroom. So we focus entirely on trying to have more sex. Or make the sex we’re having (if we’re having it) better.

But what if the issue started somewhere else?

We are taught that sex and emotion are separate things. But the research says otherwise.

People who feel emotionally connected to their partners report significantly higher sexual satisfaction. And when that emotional connection erodes, sexual satisfaction usually goes with it.

Everything here is written for grown-ups who are still figuring out sex, love, and partnership. Subscribe for unfiltered conversations about intimacy, desire, and love beyond 40.
